Each player receives a certain number of cards from a shuffled deck in this game, which usually has room for two to six players. The draw pile is made up of the remaining cards, and the discardmegaways slots pile is started with one card face-up. In order to form legitimate card combinations, or melds, players alternately draw cards from the draw or discard pile. Sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) or sets (three or four cards of the same rank) can make up a meld. Players must strategically choose which cards to keep and which to discard as their turns progress.
