Depending on the variation being played, each player is dealt a specific number of cards at the start of the game. As they draw and discard cards, players try to form runssattta king—three or more consecutive cards of the same suit—or melds—sets of three or four cards of the same rank. After constructing a legitimate meld, a player can place it on the table & keep adding to it as the game progresses. Taking the Game. The round concludes and points are totaled when one player "goes out," or discards all of their cards.
