Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit make up a run, whereas three or four cards of the same rank but different suits make up a set. Each player draws a card from the discafruit slots onlinerd pile or the stockpile, and then they each discard one card from their hand. Depending on the variant being played, each player is dealt a certain number of cards at the start of the game, typically seven or ten. In order to determine which cards to keep and which to discard based on their ability to form sets or runs, players must carefully manage their hands.
