A run is made up of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, whereas a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. The goal is to mergesatta game up every card you have into a legitimate run or set before your opponents do. The standard 52-card deck is used in most variations of the game, which can be played with two to six players. However, other decks or special cards may be used. Players alternately draw and discard cards in an effort to get better hands while watching what their rivals do.
