Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is having a monster summer at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), arguably the best he's ever performed in live poker tournaments.

The online poker legend entered Day 2 on Friday with the chip lead in Event #41: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship. He's battling against some other poker superstars, including Daniel Negreanu, Joe McKeehen, and Jeremy Ausmus.

Blom burst onto the poker scene in the late 2000s, playing the biggest cash games in the world on Full Tilt Poker under the "Isildur1" moniker. The Swedish poker pro has mostly played high-stakes cash games during his career. But he's now chasing bracelets at the World Series of Poker, and he's crushing it this summer.

Blom entered the 2025 WSOP with just 21 cashes and four final table appearances — zero bracelets — lifetime at the series. At the one-third pole this year, he's recorded four cashes, two final table appearances, and he's off to a strong start in the $10k limit event.

"Isildur" finished fourth for $152,315 in the $10,000 Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship, and took sixth place for $349,068 in the $50,000 High Roller.

The online poker star has over $6 million in live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob. But less than 50 recorded cashes since his first tournament score in 2010.

Blom went for just $22 to Team Dinkers in the 2025 25k Fantasy Draft, and he's already given the team that drafted him their money's worth. He has an opportunity to provide the team with even more value with a deep run in the limit event.

At the time of publishing, following the conclusion of the first level of Day 2, Blom was sitting third in chips, not far behind chip leader Benjamin Underwood. Negreanu, McKeehen, and Anthony Zinno were among the biggest stacks. Registration closed following the first break of the day with 107 entrants. Phil Ivey and Brad Owen were two of the players who max late registered. The top chip counts were as follows:
