A player can learn a lot about the cards that are available & which ones they should aim to collect in order to form sets and runs by monitoring which cards are being discarded. Knowing whesattaking all chartn to lay down sets & runs is another crucial tactic. Although it might be alluring to lay down sets & runs as quickly as possible, doing so exposes a player to their opponents rearranging their cards. Waiting until a player has gathered enough cards to form multiple sets or runs at once is usually preferable, as it makes it more difficult for opponents to thwart their plans.
