Keeping expensive cards for extended periods of time is one common error. Although holding high-value cards for an extended period of time can result in an increased hand size and a decreased likeage of gods slotslihood of being the first out, they can be helpful in creating sets & runs. Throwing away low-value cards too soon is another common error. Low-value cards can be crucial for creating sets and runs later in the game, even though they might not seem like much at first. Both the low-value cards you are discarding and the low-value cards your opponents are discarding should be kept in mind.
