While a sequence is a run of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, a set is made up of three or four cards of the same rank but different suits. Differentrummy real variations of the game, like Gin Rummy, Indian Rummy, or Kalooki, may have slightly different rules and can be played with two or more players. Players are initially dealt a predetermined number of cards, with the remaining cards creating a draw pile. A discard pile is created by turning the top card from the draw pile face up.
